This is a wide-ranging collection of case histories, each based on actual events, covering the numerous areas of work within the modern hospital. The narratives relate not only to the patients, but also to every area of staffing. Each case is accompanied by a brief prayer or meditation, with appropriate Biblical quotations from the REB in a few instances. An introductory chapter addresses the problems associated with prayer in this context in an accessible style.
