Drummond(1851-1897) was a Scottish preacher and writer of "inspirational" religious books. Here he says that God does not inhabit a temple in the heavenly Jerusalem of St John's vision; He is present everywhere. Similarly, he argues, Christians should not confine themselves to holy enclaves but should instead permeate the world as salt and light. His other works include "The Greatest Thing in the World", a popular inspirational classic with sales in the millions. Drummond's large readership will welcome the re-publication of this book.
