Together with the previous volumes 'Chronicler as Historian' and 'Chronicler as Author', this title endeavours to show the diverse approaches employed in Chronicles scholarship. Arising from work in the Chronicle-Ezra-Nehemiah Section of the Society of Biblical Literature, these fifteen essays cover topics and themes ranging from a discussion of the Ark in the Chronicles to a comparison of its depiction of Jerusalem with earlier and later Jewish compositions.
