Each commentary offers a religious reflection, a commentary, an insight - appropriate for adults and families - on each Sunday's scripture readings, so users can promote within the parish a better understanding of and appreciate for the good news. Written by priests and lay people with insight into how scriptures relate to everyday life, the commentaries on the disk offer the kind of messages parishioners should want to take home with them, to talk about, to ponder, to reflect upon all week long. These messages help users build upon the Sunday readings, thus bridging everyday and Sunday worship. Each Sunday is saved as a separate file in both ASCII format and rich text format (RTF), for use with an word processing or page-layout program that supports the aforementioned formats.
