The Study Set includes the Study Guide by Catherine Upchurch and a commentary, Reflections on the Mysteries of the Rosary by Mark G. Boyer (Liturgical Press). Father Mark G. Boyer is a priest of the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Gerdeau (in Missouri) and is the author of twenty-two earlier books, including three volumes of Waiting in Joyful Hope (Liturgical Press). Meditation on the mysteries of the rosary is never so rich as when it is actively stimulated by the sacred words that give them life. For centuries the rosary has been a prayer wedded to Catholic devotion and spirituality. Today, the Church calls us to make devotional reading and study of Sacred Scripture an essential source for spiritual nourishment for all the faithful.
