Patricia McCarthy, CND, is a teacher, lecturer, and retreat director on the theology and spirituality of Christian nonviolence. She is the author ofThe Scent of Jasmine: Reflections on Peace for Everyday Life, andOf Passion and Folly: A Scriptural Foundation for Peace, both published by Liturgical Press.

This study helps us to reflect on God?s call to holiness and our response, the requirements of discipleship, and the lasting rewards of following the way of justice and peace.
