The RSCM Young Voices Festival is an opportunity for young people from schools and churches to join together in song in venues across the UK. It offers an inspiring musical and spiritual experience for all participants, and a chance to develop vocal and musical skills under expert musical direction. The festival is a Voice for Life outreach event; this scheme is one of the RSCM's core educational programmes, which exists to encourage, support and promote singing in schools, churches and the wider community. Songs of Praise the Angels Sang is in three parts: * How can I keep from singing? * United in song * In tune with heaven Devised by Esther Jones and Leah Perona-Wright, the service is flexible and can be adapted to encorporate other ideas, and the readings, hymns and anthems included can be used throughout the year for school assemblies, church services and other occasions.
