Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr. is a biblical scholar, pastor, and author. With a desire to be able to translate each passage of the Bible from the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek languages, Ken earned five Bible degrees sitting at the feet of many scholars, leading to the fulfillment of his dream. The capstone of his education came from earning his Doctorate of Ministry from the Dallas Theological Seminary where he learned to take his language training and develop biblical lessons for laypersons. He created the Ken J. Burge, Sr. Foundation to extend his training to English speakers outside of the United States in places like the Philippines, India, and Africa. Through both the spoken word (via YouTube) and the written word in the F.I.R.E. series, he shares his extensive education with others in a comprehensible fashion. Ken has pastored the Colmar Manor Bible Church for thirty-four years. He resides with his wife, Kimberly, in Riverdale, Maryland.
