The creator of the NFL's #1 professional and personal development program reveals his winning playbook for unleashing your God-given potential At 5'6" and from a small town in Iowa, JJ Moses recognized that his childhood dream of playing in the NFL was a longshot. To overcome the overwhelming odds, he knew he needed to be prepared for any opportunity God sent his way. Still, it took a disappointing start to his college football career for a switch to finally flip. What followed was the creation of an integrative method so trailblazing and effective that it propelled him to seemingly impossible heights of success. In fact, Moses not only became a seasoned pro on the gridiron's grandest stage, but he also realized that the same process he used to get a competitive edge could help others embrace their own winning mindset. When his playing days were over, Moses brought the "Prepare to Win" program to his former NFL team's front office, where it quickly evolved into the league's gold standard curriculum for motivating players to exceed their potential and become effective leaders. Thoughtfully weaving professional insight with emotional and spiritual guidance, Moses has now tailored his step-by-step strategy for a wide audience, unlocking the previously untold secrets to consistent high performance. As much for aspiring leaders as experienced executives, Focused is the blueprint for taking yourself, your team, and your community to the next level.

JJ Moses

JJ Moses began his unlikely football journey at Iowa State University, where he received numerous awards and helped lead the program to their best record in school history. Following his senior season, when an unexpected opportunity met with his relentless preparation, a path was forged to the NFL-where he played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, and Houston Texans. As the shortest player in the league, his story was so inspirational that it was not only featured on Oprah's Lifeclass, but also solidified him as one of the most sought-after speakers in the business, sports, and Christian arenas. In addition to presenting to Fortune 500 companies and schools across the country, JJ contributed as an on-air personality for one of America's largest inspirational radio stations. For over 20 years, he has been involved with the NFL, where he went from a player to the front office of his former team, serving as their Director of Player Development before working with the league to help equip former athletes for post-NFL life. Recently awarded the first ever key to his hometown city in Iowa, JJ lives in Houston, Texas, with his wife and three kids.

"Larger than most in all the character traits coaches love to see in the players they work with, JJ Moses was a superior athlete, a very quick, hard-working, passionate young man, that compressed all his physical attributes within his small frame. He added tremendous chemistry to our team because everybody loved him. There is nothing within this young man not to love. J.J. Moses is without an equal." -Dick Vermeil, Super Bowl-winning NFL head coach and 2022 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee "JJ Moses has always been a champion in the game of life. Focused is an excellent book that helps individuals embrace their journey and find their passion. Whether you are a parent, child, seasoned superstar, or just starting your career, JJ Moses speaks to the heart of what matters most. His life experience, successes, and setbacks alike stand to remind the reader that aligning your priorities with your values will take you as far as you can dream." -Sylvester Turner, Mayor of Houston "JJ has drawn upon his outstanding athletics career to illustrate the meaningful and impactful tutorial that comes from competition at high levels. One cannot participate in sports without winning and losing, without triumph and heartache and without good and bad examples, some to be emulated and some to be rejected; JJ has accumulated a thoughtful and insightful use of both." -Bob Bowlsby, Former Commissioner of the Big 12 Conference
