This work provides a collection of information on the Celtic Christians, mostly from Wales and Ireland, from the sixth century, who are commemorated in the dedications of churches and the names of places where they lived, and of saints and other notable Christians from later ages, who are all celebrated in Cornwall. The author aims to give readers a living understanding of the landscape of Cornwall as they walk in it after 1500 years of history, and when they encounter such names as Saint Petroc and Saint Endelienta, or Saint Catherine and Saint Thomas Becket, or Billy Bray and Robert Stephen Hawker. The book is illustrated and has sections on the Isles of Scilly and Chri/rho and Celtic crosses.
