Ideas for using badges

· Let people pick a badge that represents their ‘home station’ – a practice that feels comfortable, that they’re passionate about, or through which they have spiritual experiences. Celebrate these gifts, vocations and passions.

· Within a Christian or spiritual seeking community, reflect on what the spread of home stations says about your community. How might this snapshot influence your mission planning?

· Give out badges whenever someone engages in one of the practices, or has a new spiritual experience, as a marker of their journey. That person can now award the same badge to anyone they think deserves one!

· Use them as a basis of a series of sessions for a youth group, giving them a new badge each time.

· Hide badges around the church building for children to find. This works well for visits from schools.

· At an outreach event, let members of the public pick the badge that best represents the way that they find depth and meaning.
