Julian of Norwich Feast Day

'All shall be well, all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well'

The Feast Day of Julian of Norwich falls on the 8th May in the Anglican calendar. Julian was an extraordinary woman of the Middle Ages. At the age of 30, suffering a severe illness and believing she was on her deathbed, she had a series of intense visions of Jesus and recovered. Julian wrote down the narration of the visions shortly after they occurred and expanded on them 20 to 30 years later in what became the first book written in English by a woman.
