This resource proposes a topic of conversation: what is religious literacy and why does it matter? It considers the challenges of religious illiteracy in the United Kingdom and proposes ways in which it might be addressed through high quality balanced religious education. This initiative is currently being pioneered in church schools around the country, but with the expectation that it will be appropriate for all schools.
