The autobiography of Sir Sydney Nicholson, founder of the RSCM, is published here for the first time, enhanced by much additional material.

It includes a wealth of hitherto unpublished photographs and some of Nicholson's own watercolour paintings. Also included is the first publication of his anthem 'My song is love unknown'.
